Soprano and Tenor/Baritone Duets
This collection consists of Fanny Hensel’s accompanied duets for soprano and tenor (8 songs) and soprano and baritone (1 song). Most of the texts are in German by poets she had set before—some many times: Goethe, Tieck, Lenau, Herder, and her husband Wilhelm. One song is in French: L’âme triste (H354), penned by Lamartine.
