Klavierstück. Presto in A Minor
Fanny Hensel wrote this piece in 1829 during a major period of transition in her life. Her brother and best friend had been abroad from a few months, and she missed him. This work was inspired by the technique of the virtuoso violinist Niccolò Paganini, whom Fanny called a “supernatural, wild genius.”
